Surf Life Savers first started in October 1907 and has been saving lives and making the Australian beach going safer.

This service has evolved over the years and The Australian Lifeguard Service (ALS) is a fully integrated national lifeguard service, providing beach patrolling services to more than 65 local government authorities and land managers across Australia.
